BRIAN SMITH – Event Director

Hailing from Bowie Maryland, Brian is deemed a trendsetter in the music, travel, entertainment/ events industries. An accomplished musician with over 30 years’ experience as a Percussionist, Brian has performed with various groups and artists ranging from Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Funk music genres. Brian also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College. He has excelled for nearly three decades as a Travel Agent, Tour Operator, Band Manager and performer, with an array of experience in entertainment, event/music production and promotion. Brian is deeply passionate about creating life-changing and memorable experiences through good music, quality entertainment, travel, and upscale events.

Brian believes in putting God first in everything, valuing people, and fostering positive and meaningful relationships. Throughout all his endeavors, Brian believes in supporting reputable charitable organizations whose mission is to solicit awareness and improve the overall quality of life for others. To that end, Brian is actively engaged in social and philanthropic work by serving in several noteworthy charitable organizations such as: the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Efforts, the Dream Project, the American Cancer Society, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Lupus Foundation, Pep Rally for Peace in the Streets, Power Jam Music Alliance, Inc. and the Tabula Rasa Domestic Violence Inc., just to name a few.

Brian has been privileged to share the stage with the likes of: the Dèja Grüv band, Native Dean (International Hip Hop recording artist/group), Tom Newman Project, Nu30x Caribbean Soul (Reggae/R&B fusion), Original P-Parliament Funkadelic, Eddie Baccus Jr. (Saxophonist/producer for various National acts such as Pieces Of a Deeam, Maysa, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle to name a few), along with a host of other artists, musicians and groups in the Washington DC metro area and abroad.
