In accordance with Maryland law, all individuals applying for an original license and all licensees renewing a license are required to complete a one-hour Domestic Violence Awareness training equipping professionals with the knowledge to recognize, respond, and connect safely.
CHAIRside Safety™ Domestic Violence Awareness Training (1 Hour) is a trauma-informed, beauty-industry-specific training designed for master barbers, barbers, stylists, cosmetologists, estheticians, nail techs, blow dry/eyelash technicians to recognize signs of domestic violence, communicate safely, and connect clients to resources without increasing risk.
